So, I really like Guardians of the Galaxy (at least the 2008 run). I was a fan of the team during the Annihilation story arc. I'm INCREDIBLY excited for the movie. So, here's GROOT supporting Rocket Raccoon as he blows the Hell out of something with pure joy/insanity.

Oh, btw, I want to clean this up then and color it. I drew it quick because I was excited to get the idea out. I want to really do some smooth shading and balance the lighting

I wonder if you're enjoying
the curvature of her back.
The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
to the peripheral.
The horseshoe crab vertebrae
scuttle to break through skin at your touch;
reach out,
a defining shiver.
I see your hands
around the rounded hills of her shoulders.
Scapulae jutting out with the extremity of the bend,
ungraceful,
like a chicken's wings.

stand up like wings,
